| Gloria Heifner's Artist's Biography ![]() |
After graduating from Central Missouri State University with a degree in commercial art, Gloria jumped head long into a graphic arts career holding positions in several Kansas City companies. Artwork for personal satisfaction was put on hold while she invested her time and energy into career and family. When faced with an empty nest she decided it was time to again discover the joys of creating art for the pure pleasure of it. Gloria's influence comes from a lot of different artists. She especially enjoys the work of M.C. Escher, Vincent Van Gogh, Picasso, Georgia O'Keef, Salvadore Dali and Mattisse just to name a few. She also derives a lot of inspiration from the artists she shares space with at the Northland Exposure Gallery in Parkville, Missouri, where her artwork is available for purchase. |
